Or, from the south of the city find your way to the City of Edinburgh Bypass Road and follow it to
the junction with the M8. Follow signs to Glasgow. Then at Junction 2 take the exit to the M9 follow
signs the “Forth Road Bridge” and “Stirling M9”.

ramp to the M9 s/p “Forth Road Bridge (A90) / Stirling / Lithgow / M9”.

Side trip to the Falkirk Wheel

M876 s/p “Glasgow” and a little later on a brown sign “Falkirk Wheel”. Continue on the M876 and
the A883, following the brown and white signs to Falkirk Wheel.

The wheel is open 10 till 5 and you can take a boat trip through it.

To continue to Stirling:

At the first r/bout follow signs “Glasgow and Edinburgh (M876) / Denny A883”.

2.6 mi At the next r/bout on the outskirts of Denny go straight through following a sign to “Stirling
A872”

From there follow any sign “Stirling A872”.back to the M9 motorway.

Side trip to Culross Palace
