Starting at South Underhill at the foot of the town, follow it around on to Fishmarket Rd and
Skinners Roundabout. Mileage starts there.

0.0 mi 50.9530, 0.7363 At Skinner’s Roundabout take the 2nd exit on to New Rd, the A259.s/p
“Folkestone / Dover / A259”. At that turn Skinners Garage is to your left.

7.6 mi 51.0072, 0.8580 At Brenzett Roundabout take the 3rd exit to remain on the A259 s/p
“Folkestone / Hythe / A259 / New Romney”

Follow the A259 through New Romney and Dymchurch .

4.5 mi 50.9877, 0.9445 New Romney. The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is off to the
right.

Just before you get to Dymchurch there’s a Martello Tower on the left and you can climb up for a
closer look. Along the next stretch of road you will have a sea wall on your right. There are plenty
of places along here to pull off on to a side road, park and climb the sea wall for a sea view.

Through Folkestone just follow the “Dover” and A259 signs.

From the r/bout above, take the 3rd exit s/posted “Capel-le-Ferne”. At the exit it is s/posted
“Harbour A260 / Capel-le-Ferne (B2011)”.

0.3 mi From the r/bout take the 1st exit s/p “Capel-le-Ferne (B2011)”.

1.0 mi 51.0990, 1.2046 Turn r. into the Battle of Britain Memorial.

To continue towards Dover, return to the B2011 and turn r.

1.8 mi 51.1045, 1.2414 From the r/bout merge on to the A20 for Dover.

Continuing towards Dover and Canterbury . . .

From the r/bout above, a short time later you will cross over the A20.
