THE ENEMY IN-A-ME

                Chapter 3
                SURVIVING TO MANHOOD

                You remember how earlier in CHAPTER 2             where I began to ask the Lord;
“How do I tell what has just happened to me without people thinking that I

was completely off my rocker? And He said; “Jesus already told it, just tell
what Jesus said and about what He did.” I was lead to the Gospel according
to MARK CHAPTER 5 . But let me start in CHAPTER 4 just to let you know
what’s going on and lay some background for you.

In MARK 4:33-41 , Jesus spoke the Word to His disciples with many parables,
as they were able to hear and to comprehend and understand. He did not
tell them anything without a parable; but when He got alone with His
disciples He explained everything fully. On that same day when evening had
come, He said to them; “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” And
leaving the crowd, they took Him with them, just as He was, in the boat in
which He was sitting in teaching the people. And other boats were with Him.
And a furious storm of wind of hurricane proportions arose, and the waves

kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming lled with water.
But Jesus was in the stern of the boat, asleep on the leather cushion; and
they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we are
perishing, about to drown? And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to
the sea; “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased and there was immediately a
great calm a perfect peacefulness. He said to them; “Why are you so timid
and fearful? How is it that you have no faith no rmly relying trust?“ And
they were lled with great awe and feared exceedingly and said one to
another, who then is this, that even the wind and sea obey Him?

                Mark 5: 1 & 2
Jesus and his disciples came to the other side of the sea, into the
country of the Gerasenes. And when He was come out of the ship,
immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

Here is a man disconnected from society and community. He has come to
dwell in the dry places in the dead places. He's dwelling in places where
there are dead things. If you want to know who you are, watch who and
what you hang with. Jesus came and found this man dwelling among the
