Chocolate Pecan Pie
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup butter
2 Squares (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1 cup whole pecans
1 frozen deep dish pie crust 9"
1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. Mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and corn syrup.
3. Melt butter and chocolate, stir together as it melts. I use microwave starting
with 30 seconds at a time and stirring every 30 seconds.)
4. Add melted chocolate mixture and pecans to egg mixture and stir well.
5. Pour into pie crust and bake 40 to 50 minutes or until set.
6. If you use a toothpick to check please keep in mind that the only part
coming out on the toothpick should be brownie like.
7. The pecans will naturally float to the top.
8. Cool and enjoy!
