“Aunt Frank”
Frances’ Mountain Cobbler
Good for 6 to 8 folks
1 hunk (stick) butter
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2‐1/2 to 4 cups of apples, peaches or cherries
1 cup sugar
1‐1/2 to 2 teaspoons baking powder
1 smidgeon over a half cup of milk
1. Melt butter and pour into an 8 x 11 inch baking dish.
2. Mix dry ingredients.
3. Add milk and beat like all git‐out.
4. Pour over melted butter in baking dish.
5. Heat fruit.
6. Pour fruit over batter.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
