Tom Padilla: Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories
“I work in HUB New Mexico, and am a Veteran as well as the son of a
WW II Veteran, and the father of a daughter with eight years and
counting, on active duty in the Army. More importantly, I am
privileged to be part of a mission to end the 22 Veteran suicides that
occur daily and to give all the other Veterans that suffer from PTSD
back the peace and dignity they have earned and so richly deserve.
In early 2015, I became aware of a protocol called RTM. It is short for
Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories. The most amazing thing
about this is that it involves no drugs, no retelling of the event, and

Blue Angels Foundation at the time. no pain. By 3 to 5 sessions of approximately 90 minutes, the

treatment has had a success rate of over 90%. It may be hard to
believe, but I have seen it work with my own eyes and can share testimonials to its
effectiveness.
Since 2015, I and many friends and colleagues have worked tirelessly to raise money and
awareness and complete the studies necessary to show this is real, and we have had
success, but of course, we need more money and help to get it to the next level. We are
now training therapists to administer the protocol and make it available to the public. It has
proven to be a game-changer with Veterans, but also with First Responders, Women, and
Children with traumatic memories and many others.
Now we need champions, both individual and corporate, across this country and the world
and do what our governments have been unable to do, end the epidemic of PTSD that is
the cause of suicides and other issues in so many lives. This is an epidemic that affects the
individuals, families, and communities and HUB can be a huge part of the solution.
Several of the individual HUB’s have supported the research, and I believe that this is an
opportunity for all of our HUB’s to become a part of the solution and change the world. I
can also show you many ways beyond the Veteran Community that this will impact our
clients, including workers' compensation, employability and many more.
My ask is that you listen and keep an open mind. This
movement is gaining momentum across the United
States and even in England, and I would love for HUB
to be a part of it.”
