           Chet Rhoads HUB HDH – From a CSO’s Perspective…

                               HUB HDH has worked closely with three of the Specialty practices on more
                               than one occasion: Construction, Healthcare, and Agribusiness.
                               “I have been encouraging all the producers to utilize the practices
          because the           practices have experts and experts who have intellectual capital, the
          proven               experience, the clients, and the resources to be able to separate ourselves
                               from the competition. I’m also encouraging my producers to actually get
                               involved in the practices and either become an advisor, or an expert as
          well                 because it’s been proven that producers that specialize make more
                               money.”
                               So why is Chet focusing on those three practices? Pennsylvania (HUB HDH sits
          in Pittsburgh) has a lot of Agribusiness opportunities, especially central Pennsylvania. There are
          also many construction opportunities in this area as well. For healthcare, Chet mentioned that
          there might not be as many healthcare opportunities for them as the others; they do have some
          purposeful relationships out there that HUB HDH can leverage by using the healthcare vertical.
          “From a CSO’s perspective, I really would find it very hard for my producers to be relevant
          out there in the marketplace if we didn’t have these verticals because if you aren’t relevant,
          the buyers just aren’t going to listen.”



           Corporate Marketing: 2020 Construction Focus

           Corporate marketing has identified Construction as one of the practices they are focusing on for
           2020, and Thomas Kan and his team have taken the time to learn from the practice leadership
           and construction risk services experts, Phil Casto & Dave Barthel, what are the ‘hot’ topics & pain
           points in the US and Canada in the industry and where best to focus marketing energy and
           effort. We are excited about 2020 marketing content and the opportunities to enhance the HUB
           brand through the insights of our experts.
