OPERATIONAL DEFINITION
Research fellows or postdoctoral researchers who contribute to teaching or research or both at your
university for a minimum period of at least three months (MyRA and SETARA sets a minimum of six
months).

Note: Research assistants and PhD students who contribute to teaching, hospital residents who do
not teach and/or undertake research in addition to clinical duties, exchange scholars and visiting
faculty who are members of other universities are excluded.
