Notes:
1. For academic staff with two qualifications, such as PhD and professional, only one category is 227
taken into account.
2. Professional qualification must be governed by one Act and a Council overseeing the
professional practice.
3. Academic staff with legal professional qualification under the Act of Parliament in Malaysia can
be taken into account.
4. Building surveyors are not taken into account because they are not under the Act of Parliament
in Malaysia.
5. Professional membership registration number is required.
