                           classification  is  an  important  part  of  the  report  text  that
                           serves as a foundation in preparing the reader to receive
                           and  understand  more  complex  details  about  a  particular

                           subject discussed in a text.
                        b.  Description
                              The second part of report text writing is description. The
                           description is the part that is used to describe the research
                           results in more detail and in depth. It contains details of the
                           findings of a study. So that this section provides a specific
                           explanation to the reader.
                    2.  Types of report text

                           Report text is one type of text in English that is often used in
                        various  situations,  both  in  academia,  business,  and  mass
                        media.  Report  text  has  a  function  to  convey  information
                        factually,  objectively,  and  clearly  about  a  certain  event,
                        incident, or phenomenon. In the context of report text writing,
                        there  are  several  different  types,  each  with  distinctive

                        characteristics and purposes. Here are some types of report text
                        that we often encounter:
                        a.  Informative Report
                              This  report  aims  to  provide  factual  and  objective
                           information about a topic. The topics covered can be very
                           diverse,  such  as  the  history  of  a  country,  the  life  of  a
                           particular animal, or the process of a natural phenomenon.
                           For example: Komodo Dragon: The Largest Living Lizard.

                        b. Explanatory Report
                             Explains  a  process  or  concept  in  detail.  It  is  usually
                           accompanied by illustrations, diagrams, or tables to make it
                           easier for the reader to understand. Explanatory reports are
                           often  used  in  science  experiment  reports,  presentation
                           papers, or instruction manuals. For example: the process of

                           refraction of sunlight that can produce a rainbow.
                        c.  Descriptive Report
