RO: I do believe it has given us momentum to go on and challenge for the top spot in the
league. We have beaten teams that weren't expected to be beaten by us. I do think playing
against teams that are in higher divisions helps the team experience what it may be like if we
get promoted and, so far we have dealt with it just fine.
WSS: The title race is shaping up to be a very close one in your division this
season, with at least five teams involved right now. Can you see it staying that
       way?
RO: I think some teams involved right now have had easier teams to play at the start of the
league and that might be one of the reasons why they are doing well but as the league draws
to a close, the number of teams may thin out. We have shown time and time again that we
are serious contenders for the top spot, especially in our recent matches and our seven match
win streak and hopefully we can go on to win the league this season.
WSS: Southampton Women have been so close to promotion over the last few
years, do you feel that this time, the time is right for you to go all the way?
RO: I do believe we have what it takes to get promoted. We have certainly shown this season
that we have what it takes to play against the bigger teams. We have been in the underdogs
in a few of these matches and have come out on top. I believe with the quality of the players
and amazing staff we have now, that the time is right to get promoted.
