Division One North leaders Biggleswade Utd are out of the League Cup after going
down 6-4 to Billericay Town Development after extra time. Maisy Rowe hit a hat-trick for
Billericay along with a Lola Bevan double and Elise Jennings. Fakenham Town swept to a
5-1 victory away to Haverhill Rovers thanks to Chloe Gravett (2), Sophie Lubbock (2) and
Olivia Baker and East Bergholt Utd were penalty shootout winners over Newmarket
Town, after the teams had shared a 1-1 draw.
London & South East League
Leaders Millwall Lionesses made a swift return to winning ways as they scored six times
without reply past AFC Acorns. Shannan Drewe hit a hat-trick, with Millie Connell, Maisie
Joyce and Milly Penfold adding the others for Millwall who head the table by two points from
Worthing FC Women, 8-1 winners away to New London Lionesses. Rebecca Bell led the
scoring with a hat-trick, Emily Linscer weighed in with a double and there was one apiece from
Chloe Lelliott, Chloe Winchester and Gemma Worsfold. Fulham FC Women now complete
the top three after Ellie Olds (2) and Georgia Heasman gave them a 3-0 victory over Dulwich
Hamlet. Elizabeth Adams and Emily Vaughan were on target as Dartford won 2-1 against
Aylesford, who replied through Hannah Corlett.
Brentford have regained the leadership of Division One North following their 4-0
victory away to Leatherhead. A first half hat-trick from Demi Edwards, plus a Kirsty
Matthews goal, saw Brentford to a result which takes them three points clear at the top, with
Dorking Wanderers in second place after battling out a goalless draw with improving
Whyteleafe. Georgia Frost was on target for Sport London e Benfica as they shared a 1-1
draw with Dulwich Hamlet Res, who scored through Alyssa Miranda, and Lily Hall scored
the only goal of the game for Watford Development as they beat Richmond Park 1-0.
Nicole Baitup, Charlotte Gurr, Rubie Harris and Sian Heather accounted for the goals as
Division One South table toppers Hastings Utd defeated Bromley FC Women 4-0, to keep
themselves three points ahead of Ashford Utd who won 2-1 against Welling Utd thanks to
Meadow Barton and Rebecca Wyatt. Eastbourne Utd stay level on points with Ashford; they
triumphed 4-0 at Cray Valley (PM) with goals from Rebecca Relf (2), Emily Copeland-Dinan
and Naomi Corrigan. Georgia Egner and Tara Barratt were the markswomen for Montpelier
Villa in their 2-1 victory over Newhaven whilst Herne Bay were 3-1 winners at Bexhill
Utd, Lauren Harris, Kate Foster and Erin MacLennan all scoring a goal apiece. Grace Mayhead
amd Ella Roper both scored, along with an own goal, as Maidstone Utd picked up their
second point of the season with a 3-3 draw against Steyning Town Community, who found
the net through Leigh-Anne Bridgewater, Abby Chriss and Elouise Kinloch.
In the League Cup, Enfield Town progressed to the quarter finals as Karesha Iton,
Katie O'Leary, Sheryce Slater and Alana Munro gave them a 4-2 victory over Clapton
Community, for whom Marta Perez and Larissa Vieira replied.
North East League
Chester-le-Street Town have doubled their lead to six points after they won 1-0 against
Wakefield, Nichole Havery scoring the only goal of the game. In the other game,
Sunderland West End came from two goals behind to beat Hull Utd 3-2. Lauren Tate and
Mary Lisle had put Hull two up at the break but in the second half, Melissa Jones, Nicole
O'Hara and Melissa Simpson all scored to give West End their third win of the season.
The leadership has changed hands once again in the Northern Division and Wallsend
BC Res are back on top once more following their 3-1 victory over Guisborough Town.
Amber Southern netted twice for Wallsend and Alex Bailey added the other, with Anna Trainor
replying. Chester-le-Street Utd meanwhile edged out Bishop Auckland 3-2, thanks to
Talia Korucu, Kirsty Gillis and Neve Jackson, whilst Sophie Whiting and Katie Smith were on
target for the home side.
With Barnsley not in action, Handsworth have gone back to the top of the Southern
Division as they defeated Ossett Utd 4-2. Katie Jepson hit a hat-trick and Jessica Birtles
