The Vitality Women’s FA Cup

       Clapton Community have got off to a good start in the Greater
       London League and on Sunday they defeated Haringey Borough,
       from  two  levels  above,  6-3  to  reach  the  Third  Round  Qualifying.
       Emily Link scored a hat-trick for Clapton whilst Marta Perez (2) and
       Annabel  Lyons  accounted  for  the  other  goals.  Haringey's  replies
       came from Caitlen Star (2) and Juliet Ramirez. Tayla Murray (2) and Samaira Khan scored the
       goals as Biggleswade Utd won 3-2 away to Headstone Manor and they will host Clapton in
       the next round.
              Rotherham Utd meanwhile claimed the scalp of Sheffield Wednesday with a 4-2
       victory. Amy Pollock bagged a hat-trick before Harriet Houghton put Rotherham United into a
       commanding 4-0 lead with most of the second half still to play, but Wednesday salvaged some
       pride with Amy Broomhead and Shannon Coughlan netting once each. A third for Wednesday
       would have made for an exciting finish, but Rotherham steadied to progress and earn themselves
       a trip to AFC Telford Utd, who were 3-0 winners at Walsall Wood.
              Caversham Utd won 4-2 at Eversley & California; Freya Jenkins netted a brace
       along  with  Caitlin  Levy  and  Holly  Swan  to  book  their  side  a  meeting  with  Queen's  Park
       Rangers.
              Bishop Auckland won 2-1 against Blyth Town thanks to Chloe Geary and Vikki
       Ryder, they now go to Mossley Hill who defeated Hindley Juniors 3-1. South Shields beat
       Chester-le-Street Utd 3-2 but must wait to find out their next opponents, either Morecambe
       or Macclesfield Town. Merseyrail Ladies must travel to Durham Cestria following their
       ten-goal victory against Wythenshawe Amateurs.
              Sir Tom Finney ran out 6-1 winners over Marine FC Women and they will be at
       home to Bolton Ladies, meanwhile Penrith AFC booked themselves a trip to Alnwick Town
       when winning 2-0 away to Gateshead Rutherford. Emily Senior hit a hat-trick for Ossett
       Utd  in  their  5-2  victory  over  Farsley  Celtic  Juniors,  with  Jordan  Cheetham  and  Rowan
       Treagus adding the others. The winners are away to Bradford City. Tranmere Rovers were
       narrow 1-0 victors away to West Didsbury & Chorlton and will be up against another North
       West League side in the next round, Cheadle Town Stingers who beat Northwich Vixens
       2-1.
              Hannah Brierley and Shirley Murphy scored the goals as Farsley Celtic won 2-1 away
       to Altofts Ladies; they will face Darlington FC Women who triumphed 3-1 at Hartlepool
       Pools Youth. Wallsend Boys Club and Sunderland West End fought out a 2-2 draw,
       before West End won the resulting penalty shootout 5-4 to earn themselves a journey to either
       Haslingden Ladies or Crewe Alexandra.
              Wakefield Trinity won 6-1 away to Harworth Colliery, Neve Renwick bagging a
       four-goal haul along with Emily Heckler and Ashleigh Beckett. Wakefield will now be up against
       Hull Utd who won 2-1 away to Oughtibridge WM, Lauren Holmes and Eleanor Robinson
       accounted for the goals. Jessica Cook (2) and Hannah Dixon saw Washington Association to
       a 3-1 success against West Allotment Celtic and they now face Fleetwood Town Wrens,
       who edged past Accrington Stanley 1-0. BRNESC Women defeated Runcorn Linnets 4-2
       to set up a tough tie away to FC United of Manchester.
              York  City  have  a  plum  tie  with  Newcastle  Utd  after  they  defeated  Brighouse
       Sports  9-2,  Sophie  Tinson  netting  a  hat-trick  along  with  Milly  Ash,  Rebecca  Fevers,  Holly
       Findlay, Karli Smith, Shannon Durkin and Emma Hallowell. Salford City Lionesses edged
       out Chester FC Women by the odd goal in nine and they will have an intriguing meeting with
       Barnsley Women. Gateshead FC Ladies won 2-1 against Spennymoor Town and will
       play at home to Harrogate Town who defeated Ripon City 4-1 thanks to Georgia Southby,
       Beth Jennings, Emma Elliot and an own goal.
              Altrincham  were  4-2  winners  over  Ashton  Town  Lionesses  and  are  now  up
       against Norton & Stockton Ancients, whilst Alisha Smith (2), Robyn Foster, Ellie Gutcher,
