Harder latched on to a long ball forward and tricked her way past Aoife Mannion before
burying her shot in the corner of the net.
Before United were able to recover, they found themselves two behind through a Jessie
Fleming which bounced and looped over Sophie Baggaley.
This time, United reacted well to the goal and a minute later, a back heel from Jackie
Groenen found Vilde Boe Risa who buried an angled shot past Zecira Musovic to bring her
      side back into the match.
Chelsea were to soon restore the two-goal advantage though, a fine move culminating
with Jess Carter tucking the ball home from around six yards out.
Both sides pushed hard for a goal after the break but there were to be no further
addtions to the scoreline and Chelsea ended up as 3-1 winners. There was to be an unhappy
ending for Baggaley though as she was red carded late on after bringing down substitute
Sam Kerr on her way through on goal.
Manchester City then entertained Tottenham Hotspur in the other semi final and it
was Spurs who had a great chance to score early on but Jessica Naz shot wide when through
on goal after having dispossessed Keira Walsh.
The let off seemed to shake City into life and nine minutes later, they took the lead.
Lucy Bronze broke into the area and found Jess Park, who drilled home an angled shot to
      put her side in front.
Six minutes later, another shot from Park led to her side doubling their lead but this
time, it was Khadija Shaw who was on hand to tuck the ball home from close range.
After the break, Bronze went close to extending City’s advantage when she headed
against the post but the result was put beyond doubt with twenty minutes remaining, when
Park crossed for Lauren Hemp to head home.
The Final between Chelsea and Manchester City will take place at Plough Lane, home
of AFC Wimbledon, on Sunday 6th March.
Fans of both teams are now able to buy tickets for the game, priced at £10 for adults
and £2.50 for Under-16s, and are on sale via the AFC Wimbledon website.
