with the second goal. Third placed Fulham FC Women meanwhile won 3-0 at Denham
Utd thanks to Ellie Olds (2) and Oana-Elena Negrea. New London Lionesses returned to
winning ways with a 2-1 success against Aylesford, given to them by Elizabeth Ashcroft and
Samantha Lanza Gabian. Anna Stones netted the only goal of the game as Dulwich Hamlet
beat Saltdean Utd 1-0 and Whyteleafe were 2-0 winners over Millwall Lionesses
thanks to Kelly Poynton and Megan Smith.
The top two in Division One North also came face to face and again the spoils went to
the leaders, in this case Sutton Utd who won a thrilling match 4-3 against Dorking
Wanderers. Olivia Watson netted twice for Sutton along with Mika Keen and an own goal,
whilst Dorking replied via an Ishbel Zuurmond brace and Xayla-Rae Alberts. Catherine
Campbell (2), Chanel Richards and Alex Muschette accounted for the goals as Dulwich
Hamlet Res defeated Walton Casuals 4-2 to go up to third, ahead of Brentford who lost
ground when beaten 2-1 by whose scorers were Sarah Garlick and Lizzie Tucker. Watford
Development ran out 3-0 winners over Clapham Utd thanks to Lauren Araniello,
Francesca Grazioli and Reese Ayres.
AFC Acorns stretched their Division One South lead to five points after goals from
Mariangelis Escalona, Samantha Rowland and Lauren Tyler gave them a 3-2 win away to
Herne Bay. Hastings Utd now occupy second place following their 12-1 crushing of
Maidstone Utd. Georgia Tibble scored four times, Nicole Baitup and Sian Heather each
bagged hat-tricks while Naomi Corrigan and Sophie Reed added the others for Hastings who
are ahead on goal difference from Ashford Ladies, 6-0 victors over Meridian Ladies
thanks to Jade Steadman (2), Rebecca Wyatt (2), Katie Hardaker and Yasmin Howard.
Emily Clarke, Maddie Bone and Storm Arnold were the markswomen for Welling Utd in
their 3-0 win at Parkwood Rangers and Newhaven defeated Bexhill Utd 4-2 with a
goal apiece from Lucy Collinson, Chelsea Cook, Charlotte Markham and Lauren Smith.
North East League
With York City not in action, Redcar Town had an opportunity to close the gap on them
to seven points, which they accepted with a 2-1 victory over Ossett Utd. Jess Round scored
both goals for Redcar whilst Ossett's reply came from Danielle Sidebottom. Harrogate
Town are a further two points adrift in third following their 3-0 success at Sheffield
Wednesday in which Cassidy Lane (2) and Hannah Freibach were on target. Sophie White
netted twice, with Caitlin Bates and Alex Miller also on the scoresheet, as South Shields
defeated Farsley Celtic 4-1.
Blyth Town got back to winning ways in the Northern Division and head the table
by three points after their 9-1 victory at Guisborough Town. Steph Ord hit a hat-trick for
Blyth, Sophie Hollis weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Katie Archbold,
Ailsa Swinburne, Rebecca Henry and Katie Glendening. Boro Rangers meanwhile
reclaimed second place at the expense of Chester-le-Street Utd, winning their meeting 2-1
thanks to Jade Danks and Jessica Thomas, with Holly Doogan replying. Washington
Association follow on after beating Prudhoe Town 4-0, Jessica Cook netting twice along
with Freya Martin and Abigail Phipps. Rachel Hepple was on target for Wallsend BC Res
in their 1-1 draw with West Allotment Celtic, who replied through Eilidh Paul, whilst
Bishop Auckland won 4-1 away to Norton & Stockton Ancients Res, courtesy of
Emma Wright (2), Vikki Ryder and an own goal.
Southern Division leaders Hull Utd dropped points for the first time this season as
they were held to a 3-3 draw by Farsley Celtic Juniors, but have still gone further ahead
at the top. Emma Smith, Lauren Tate and Tonya Wild-Storr scored the goals for Hull, whilst
Farsley's replies came from Jasmin Cooper, Shauna Hill and Sarah Lawn. Second placed
York RI crashed to an 8-2 defeat at the hands of Altofts Ladies, for whom Nadine Bates
and Grace Wilkinson both hit hat-tricks, with Emily Scott adding the other two. Millmoor
