The Regional Leagues...
East Midlands League
Chesterfield have gone level on points with the top two in the Premier Division after they
defeated Rise Park 5-0. Gina Camfield netted a brace and the others came from Amy Pashley,
Beth Smyth and Maddison Frances-Creaser. Oughtibridge WM meanwhile ran out 10-1 winners
away to Leicester City Ladies and this has taken them to within two points of the three leaders.
Division One North leaders Grimsby Town saw their six-match winning run halted
when they were held to a goalless draw by local rivals Grimsby Borough. Town's lead has been
trimmed to a single point by Arnold Eagles after they won 4-1 away to Notts County
Development, Amy Gauvrit hitting a hat-trick and Natasha Leach adding the other.
Nottingham Trent University follow on in third, they scored seven times without reply past
Cleethorpes Town. Ellie McKeegan scored a hat-trick with Rosie Bevan (2), Alice Rogers and
Elizabeth Stocks accounting for the other goals. Elizabeth Harris grabbed the only goal for St
Josephs Rockware of Worksop in their 1-0 victory over Sleaford Town.
Derby County Academy hold on to the leadership of Division One South following
their nine-goal blast against Loughborough Foxes Vixens. Marli Rhodes-Andrews hit a hat-
trick, Lucy Copeland and Kelsey Wragg added two each and Laila Abadi and Sasha Brassington
rounded off the scoring. The other two teams who started the day level on points at the top met
each other, Anstey Nomads beating Oadby & Wigston 5-0 thanks to Ella Needham (2),
Gemma Ball, Carmelina Colangelo and Ella Wortley. Thrapston Town defeated Peterborough
Utd Res 8-2 and head the chasing teams, Emma Robinson scoring a hat-trick along with Amelia
Boddington (2), Abby Callaghan, Sophie Warren and Emily Slough. Jessica Abdy, Isabella Hodson
and Millie Smallwood each scored twice, with Maja Kocik adding the other, for Nottingham
Forest Development in their 7-1 victory away to Coalville Town Ravenettes.
Eastern Region League
With the teams around them involved in FA Cup action on Sunday, Royston Town took the
opportunity to move into second place in the Premier Division with a 4-1 win away to Haringey
Borough. Emma Slater was on target twice for Royston along with Becky Charter and Grace
Georgiou. Sasha Manders and Terri Harvey scored the goals as Colney Heath beat Wroxham
2-1.
Six different players got on the scoresheet for Division One North table toppers
Needham Market in their 8-0 victory at Haverhill Rovers. Jodie Sharp and Molly Hall both
netted braces, with Lois Balfour, Laura Bloomfield, Joanna Brawn and Mia Etheridge also finding
the net. Kayleigh Gray, Charlene Moreton and Tayla Murray all scored for second placed
Biggleswade Utd as they won 3-0 away to Newmarket Town. Emer McAuliffe was on target
for Cambridge City Development in their 1-1 draw against Whittlesey Athletic, who scored
through Lauren Mapleston.
Division One South leaders Leigh Ramblers went down to their second defeat of the
season, beaten 2-0 by Cheshunt who move to within one point of them in second place. Frances
Gamble and Charlotte Grogan scored the goals for Cheshunt. Sarah Rivers and Laura Bunton both
hit hat-tricks for Barking in their 9-2 victory over East Bergholt Utd. Sarah Finch (2) and
Harriet Douglas weighed in with the other goals.
London & South East League
League leaders Ashford Town (Middlesex) were playing in the FA Cup and New London
Lionesses cut their advantage to five points as they edged out Denham Utd by the odd goal in
seven. Kiz Fergus netted two of the goals for the Lionesses, along with Holly Newton and Elizabeth
Ashcroft. Dartford are in the top three following their 6-2 victory over Saltdean Utd, given to
them by an Emily Vaughan double, Amy Green, Shauni Griffiths, Isabelle Michalski and Elizabeth
Adams. Ann Jowle hit a hat-trick, with Roisin Stone and Sophie Manzi adding the others, as
Dulwich Hamlet ran out 5-0 winners over Whyteleafe.
Dulwich Hamlet Res have gone level on points with Division One North leaders
Dorking Wanderers after sharing a 2-2 draw with third placed Brentford. A win would have
taken Dulwich top but had to settle for a point thanks to Dorian Senmani Sani and an own goal,
