Northern Premier Division
Huddersfield Town made a powerful return to
action with an 8-1 victory over Stoke City, which
means they stay on top of the Northern Premier
Division with a lead of three points. Town found the net six times during the first half, Laura
Elford and Sarah Danby each scoring twice along with Brittany Sanderson and Kate Mallin.
After the break, Elford and Danby each completed a hat-trick, whilst Stoke's first half
       consolation came from Abby Hunt.
Fylde Women kept themselves three points behind leaders Huddersfield as they
also won 8-1 against Sheffield FC. Faye McCoy led the scoring for the Coasters with a
four-goal haul and she was joined on the scoresheet by Jenna Carroll, Olivia Fuller, Jess
Holbrook and Emily Hollinshead, with Nicole Kemp replying.
Three matches were played in the division on Sunday and, remarkably, all three
yielded nine goals in total. The third game was a much closer affair as Sunderland
continued their climb up the table, taking themselves in fourth place by beating Derby
County 5-4. Louise Griffiths' opening minute strike for Sunderland was quickly cancelled
out by Hannah Keryakoplis, before Emily Scarr, Keira Ramshaw and Eve Blakey added
further goals for the Wearsiders ahead of half time. Derby fought back after the break and
reduced the arrears through Emily Joyce and Precious Hamilton but Ramshaw's second goal
was just enough to give Sunderland the points, despite Jade Formaston giving the Ewe Rams
       hope late on.
       Southern Premier Division
Watford are continuing to set the pace on resumption of play, holding on to top spot with a
4-0 victory against Chichester & Selsey. Helen Ward netted a double to put her side two
goals ahead at half time, with Anne Meiwald and Emma Beckett adding further goals during
       the second half.
Oxford Utd stay one point behind in second place after beating Keynsham
Town 3-1. The U's took the lead on the half hour with a strike from Carly Johns but
Keynsham battled back after the break and equalised through Kerry Bartlett. Emily Allen put
Oxford back in front with eight minutes remaining and Daisy McLachlan wrapped up the win
       with the third goal.
Portsmouth replaced Milton Keynes Dons in third place after winning their
meeting 4-1. The division's leading scorer, Becki Bath led the scoring for Pompey by hitting
a hat-trick, taking her league tally for the season to 11, and after Jade Bell had pulled a goal
back for MK, Tamsin De Bunsen completed the scoring for Pompey six minutes from time.
Crawley Wasps meanwhile kept themselves in touch with the leading sides with
a 4-0 win over Plymouth Argyle. Imogen Lancaster put Crawley ahead with two minutes
on the clock and Charlotte Owen doubled their lead ahead of half time. Naomi Cole made it
three midway through the second half and Nikita Whinnett added the final goal.
Cardiff City Ladies played their first home league match of the season and it
ended in a 6-0 victory over Hounslow Women. Cori Williams netted two of the goals for
Cardiff and she was joined on the scoresheet by Nia Rees, Morgan Rogers, Hollie Smith and
       Jasmine Turner.
       Division One North
Leeds Utd moved into the top four places, thanks to a 4-3 victory away to Stockport
County. A win would have Stockport into third place and they led 3-2 at the interval thanks
to Sophie Charlton, Keeley Goodwin and Olivia Wild but Leeds, who had replied through
Olivia Smart and Aaliyah Nolan, turned the match around in the second half and after Molly
