Havard had brought the scores level, Rebecca Hunt netted the winner for Leeds just before
the hour.
In the other game to be played, Durham Cestria lifted themselves into the top half
of the table by scoring seven times without reply past Bolton Ladies. Ellen Turnbull
ensured that Durham led at half time and after the break, Diedre Bradley, Lauren Robson,
Dannika Purdham, Jordan Atkinson, Gracie Mackie and Amy Hargrave all added a goal
apiece.
Division One Midlands
Second placed Doncaster Rovers Belles edged closer towards leaders Wolverhampton
Wanderers, trailing them by four points after drawing 3-3 with Sporting Khalsa. Lauren
Walker scored a hat-trick for Khalsa, whilst the Belles responded with a Nadia Khan double
and Kirsty Smith.
Long Eaton Utd defeated Leafield Athletic 7-1 and although they stay in sixth,
they are now level on points with third placed Boldmere St Michaels. Tara Kirk and
Jessica Munn each bagged doubles for Long Eaton along with Jordan Atkin, Amy Wells and
Nicola Emery.
Bedworth Utd meanwhile registered their second win of the season, 4-2 against
Burton Albion. Lydia Hackney netted twice for Bedworth, with Kirsty Farnsworth and Jodi
Hunter adding the others, whilst Burton replied through Millie Drinkhall and Ella Ritchie.
Division One South East
Hashtag Utd have gone level on points with leaders Ipswich Town after scoring six times
without reply past Cambridge City. Madelyn Thomas bagged a brace for Hashtag and she
was joined on the scoresheet by Poppy Binding, Evie Clarke, Holly Turner and Kelly
Wealthall.
Enfield Town were 3-0 winners away to Cambridge Utd and are just one point
off the pace in third place. Courtney Cook, Lisa Fulgence and Amy Makewell all netted a goal
apiece for Enfield, to hand them their third league win of the season.
Norwich City have got off to a good start this season and recorded their third
victory in four matches, 3-0 against Stevenage Women. Kathryn Stanley scored two of the
goals for the Canaries, with Natasha Snelling also on target.
Division One South West
One match went ahead in the division on Sunday, Buckland Athletic running out 3-1
winners over Poole Town. Sacha Paynter did give Poole a seventh minute lead but Zoe
Cunningham hit back to equalise midway through the first half. After the break, Carmen
Morison put the Bucks ahead for the first time and Sarah Stacey scored with two minutes
remaining to seal a result which takes Buckland up into fourth place.
Reserve Section round-up...
Northern Division leaders Middlesbrough had lost their previous match before the break
but resumed with a 6-0 victory over Stockport County. Armani Maxwell and Hannah
Robson each scored twice for 'Boro, with Taylor Hebb and Abby Robson adding the others.
Durham Women also notched up a six-goal win against Bradford City and move into
second place as a result. Shona Hastings was on target twice for the Wildcats along with
Kenzy Collingbourne, Mia Lawrence-Kay, Anna Vince and an own goal. Leeds Utd and
Brighouse Town battled out a goalless draw whilst Sheffield FC were 3-2 victors away to
Barnsley, thanks to a goal apiece from Molly Waite, Georgia Willson and Gabriella Foulkes.
It was a similar story in the Midland Division where leaders Sheffield Utd were
also coming off the back of a defeat in their previous match and they maintained their lead of
three points by winning 5-2 away to Nottingham Forest. Millie Herbert-Clarke (2), Molly
Graham, Erin Green and Louise Biggins all scored for the Blades, with Laura Dexter hitting
a brace in reply. Lucy Copeland bagged a hat-trick and Lucy Wood added the other two as
