remaining but Crawley hit back for a share of the spoils with and equaliser from Selun
Buyukgiray.
Division One North
Durham Cestria power on at the top of the table, preserving their seven point lead with a 2-0
victory over Bradford City. The game was goalless until midway through the second half, when
Wildcats captain Jen Knowles gave the side the lead and Faye Dale sealed the points with the
second goal late on.
Newcastle Utd continue to head the chasing teams, after they won 3-1 away to Chorley.
The home side went into the game on the back of much improved recent form but goals from
Georgia Gibson, Charlotte Potts and Lauren Robson gave Newcastle another important victory,
Sophie Rotheram replying for the home side.
Barnsley have recaptured third place following a much needed 1-0 victory over
Merseyrail Ladies. Natalie Shaw scored the only goal of the game during the second half, to
take her side back into the top three and keep their title hopes alive.
York City continued their resurgent form with a second straight win, beating
Middlesbrough 4-1, a result which takes them back into a mid-table position. Nicola Brown,
Alice Hughes, Abby Parkin and Felicity Jones all scored a goal apiece for York, whilst 'Boro's
consolation came from Armani Maxwell.
Division One Midlands
Although they haven't played a league match since 27th November, Stourbridge are still five
points clear at the top but the teams behind are bunching up, with the next four all level on
points. These are still headed by Solihull Moors despite them being held to a 1-1 draw by Leek
Town, who have edged a further point clear of the bottom two. Chantelle Gallagher netted for
Leek to give them a second half lead, with Moors netting through Rebecca Knight.
Doncaster Rovers Belles ran out 6-1 winners over Long Eaton Utd, but it wasn't quite
enough to take them above Solihull Moors on goal difference. Mollie Barlow and Sophie Scargill
each scored twice for the Belles, and they were joined on the scoresheet by Ryley Johnson and
Shannon Durkin.
Sporting Khalsa are starting to get back into their stride again, they recorded one of their
biggest wins of the season so far, beating Lincoln City 5-1. Lucy Farrow did give Lincoln a
twelfth minute lead but Khalsa hit back strongly, a Steph Weston brace putting them in front by
the interval and the striker went on to complete her hat-trick after the break, with Skye Owen and
Olivia Woolston also on target.
Leafield Athletic move back above Lincoln into fifth place and complete the quartet of
chasing teams, thanks to a 3-2 win against Wem Town. Two own goals assisted Leafield as they
took the points, with Kathryn Pagan adding the other, whilst Wem's replies came from Kim
Bebbington and Charlotte Budd.
Northampton Town continued their climb away from danger by winning 2-0 away to
Sheffield FC, who remain in the bottom two. Jade Bell scored a goal in each half to earn
Northampton a result which moves them towards mid-table.
Division One South East
Leaders Hashtag Utd played only their second league match in eight weeks but were keen to
make up for lost time, beating Cambridge Utd 5-1 to maintain their lead of eight points.
Samantha Rowland was on target twice for the Tags along with Kelly Wealthall, Emma Samways
and Sasha Adamson, whilst the U's consolation came from Isabella Simmons.
Two of the Hags' main rivals came face to face and it was AFC Wimbledon who
triumphed 2-1 over Actonians Ladies, moving up to second in the process. Ashlee Hincks
scored a second half penalty to settle the match after Ellie Dorey's earlier goal for the Dons had
been cancelled out by Melia D'Santos.
AFC Wimbledon therefore occupy second place on goal difference from Norwich City,
who edged out Queen's Park Rangers by the odd goal in seven. Natasha Snelling spearheaded
