The Scottish Women’s Premier League got back to action on Wednesday night, with
three matches being played and it saw two of the early pacesetters extend their
       respective 100% records.
This included reigning Champions Rangers, who made it five wins out of five
with a 6-0 success away to Partick Thistle. First half strikes from Kayla McCoy and
Brogan Hay gave the Light Blues a two-goal advantage going into the break, before
Chelsea Cornet, Lizzie Arnot, Lisa Martinez and Dina Orschamann added further goals
       during the second half.
Glasgow City meanwhile made sure of keeping pace with Rangers, thanks to a
4-0 victory at Hibernian. All of the goals came during the first half, Lauren Davidson
giving City the lead with two minutes on the clock. Hayley Lauder made it two at the
midpoint of the half and they went on to add further goals just ahead of the break thanks
to Emily Wheland and Kinga Kozak.
Hearts have got off to a good start and they have consolidated themselves in
fourth place, courtesy of a 2-0 win against Dundee Utd. After a goalless first half,
Georgia Timms gave Hearts the lead within four minutes of the restart and Katie Rood
sealed a second win in successive matches when she doubled their lead five minutes
       later.
The remaining three matches will be played this coming Sunday, with Celtic
having their opportunity to join the top two on fifteen points when they play at home to
       Hamilton Academical.
