Northern Premier Division
       Champions Wolverhampton Wanderers have hit
top spot after they defeated Loughborough
Lightning 4-0. Katie Johnson netted two of the goals
and she was joined on the scoresheet by Amber Hughes and Destiney Toussaint.
Burnley FC Women had started the day as leaders but Huddersfield Town became
the first team to take points off them when they held them to a 3-3 draw. Millie Ravening gave
Burnley a great start with a fifth minute lead, before Town hit back to go ahead at the break
thanks to a double from Katie Anderson. Ravening netted her second from the penalty spot and
Leah Embley scored to put Burnley back in front and on course for a fourth straight win but
Huddersfield were to have the final say, Laura Elford grabbing an injury time equaliser to give
them a share of the spoils.
Nottingham Forest have the last remaining 100% record following their 2-0 victory
against Liverpool Feds. First half goals from Mai Moncaster and Charlotte Steggles
maintained Forest's good start and inflicted a first defeat of the season on the Feds.
Derby County are starting to pick up pace and their 6-1 win over Boldmere St
Michaels takes them to eleven goals in two matches. Amy Sims led the scoring for the Ewe
Rams with a second half hat-trick, Jessica Camwell weighed in with a brace and Emelia Watson
was also on target, with Lois Jefferies replying.
Honours were even at West Bromwich Albion where the fifth placed home side
shared a goalless draw with AFC Fylde, who still await their first win of the season.
Stoke City meanwhile got back to winning ways with a 1-0 success against Brighouse
Town. Meg Bowyer settled matters in Stoke's favour with the only goal of the game.
       Southern Premier Division
It has been a great start to the new season for Oxford Utd, the runners-up last time around,
as they ran out 5-0 winners over Cheltenham Town to open up a five point lead at the top of
the table. Leah Burridge bagged a first half brace for the U's with Riva Casley and Carly Johns
also finding the net before the break, with Johns adding a second during the second half.
Portsmouth remain in second place after being held to a 2-2 draw by Gillingham.
Things were looking good for Pompey as Sophie Quirk and Tierney Scott put them two ahead
but the Gills hit back strongly and two goals in the last fourteen minutes from Maddison
       Chamney-Farrand earned them a point.
London Bees are up into the top three as two first half strikes saw them win 2-1 away
to Plymouth Argyle, whose frustrating start continues. Kayla Potter and Reah Vyse gave the
Bees a two-goal lead at half time, before Jemma Rose pulled one back for Argyle after the break.
Newly promoted Billericay Town claimed their first victory of the season, a notable
2-1 success against Milton Keynes Dons. Jess King and Zoe Rushen were both on target for
       Billericay, with Leoni Miceli replying.
Crawley Wasps and Bridgwater Utd meanwhile battled out a 1-1 draw, Iesha Swaby
was on the scoresheet for Crawley whilst Bridgwater netted through Laura Holden.
On Tuesday night, goals from Danielle Lane and Nicole Barratt gave Portsmouth a 2-0
victory over Watford, which narrows the gap on leaders Oxford to five five points.
       Division One North
Barnsley maintained their lead of three points after making it four wins out of four, beating
Durham Cestria 3-1. Amy-Leigh Barringham-Beck, Eve Marshall and Emily Pierrepont all
scored a goal apiece for Barnsley, whilst the Wildcats' consolation came from Lily Patrick.
Leeds Utd have moved up into second place on the back of a 2-0 win against previously
unbeaten Middlesbrough. Laura Bartup gave Leeds a first half lead, which was doubled after
       the break by Sarah Danby.
