against Montpelier Villa, a result which leaves them three points off the pace. Terri-Ann
       Warren netted for Bromley FC Women in their 1-1 draw with Newhaven, whose reply
       came via an own goal, whilst the match between Maidstone Utd and Bexhill Utd finished
       goalless.
          The final Second Round tie in the League Cup was played and it was Hackney who
       progressed to the last sixteen with a 6-1 victory over Cray Valley (PM), who move into the
       League Trophy. Amy Nicholson (2), Kea Felix (2), Fae Fulconis and Kate Meehan all scored
       for Hackney whilst the visitors' consolation came from Chloe Ashdown.
       North East League
       South Shields have halved the gap on Premier Division leaders Chester-le-Street Town
       to three points, after they won 2-1 away to Hull Utd. Becki McMahon and Sophie Greener
       were both on target for Shields, with Jessica Robinson replying.
          The leading sides in the Northern Division did not play on Sunday but they have now
       been joined by Thornaby Ladies, who are just five points off the pace after winning 2-1
       away to West Allotment Celtic. Ashleigh Lofthouse and Sophie Wood netted the goals for
       Thornaby, whilst the home side's consolation came from Gabrielle McConnel. Demi Burdon
       and Lucy O'Keefe scored for Hartlepool Pools Youth in their 2-1 success at Chester-le-
       Street Utd, whose reply came from Jessica Salkeld, whilst Christine Murray was on target
       four  times  for  Gateshead  FC  Ladies  in  their  7-0  victory  over  Guisborough  Town.
       Jessica Richardson weighed in with a brace and Kelly Moorhead added the other goal.
          The only game to be played in the Southern Division turned out to be an important one
       for Sheffield Wednesday as they lifted themselves off the bottom of the table, thanks to a
       5-2 win against Bradford Park Avenue. Amy Broomhead and Molly Wilde each netted
       twice along with Izzy Rundle, with Beth Vickers and Melissa West responding.
       North West League
       Curzon Ashton staged a fightback from having been two Olivia Ellinson goals behind at
       half time, to beat Mossley Hill 3-2 and take themselves to the top of the Premier Division.
       They lead by two points from previous leaders FC United of Manchester, who shared a
       2-2  draw  with  Crewe  Alexandra,  and  Salford  City  Lionesses,  4-1  winners  away  to
       Tranmere Rovers.
          Division One North table toppers Haslingden battled out a 3-3 draw with third placed
       Morecambe, who scored through Natalie Broad, Erin Menzies and Yasmine Swarbrick. The
       result means that Haslingden head the table by five points and Morecambe remain in the top
       three, one point ahead of Penrith AFC who defeated Workington Reds 4-0 with goals
       from Beth Cater (2), Sarah Smith and Darcie Dixon.
          Bury AFC Women hold onto the leadership of Division One South after their two
       nearest rivals, Poulton Vics and Runcorn Linnets, shared a 3-3 draw. Runcorn therefore
       go level with Bury, who stay top on goal difference, with Poulton five points adrift in third.
       Emma Gray and Molly Wood each hit hat-tricks, with Rachel Lloyd and Imogen Paul adding
       the others, as Chester FC Women won 8-3 against Alder FC Women to move up to fifth.
       South West League
       Torquay Utd stepped up their challenge in the title race with a 2-1 victory against Bishop's
       Lydeard. Connie Pengelly and Daisy Self scored the goals which leave Torquay three points
       off the top, and with games in hand on the teams above them, whilst Lydeard's consolation
       came from Imogen Miller.
          In  the  one  match  to  survive  the  weather  in  the  Northern  Division,  Oldland
       Abbotonians went level on points with leaders Frampton Rangers after winning 1-0
       away to previously unbeaten St Vallier. Tammi Haynes scored the only goal of the game to
       boost Oldland in what is an increasingly tight division.
          Weston-super-Mare got back to winning ways in the Eastern Division with a 3-0
