Castro, Kendal Drake and Jessica Wadey, and Dartford join them in the last four after Nicha Dyett,
Emily Vaughan and Elizabeth Adams all scored in their 3-1 win over Dulwich Hamlet.
Ashford Utd took their league form into the League Trophy with a 1-0 success away to
Leatherhead, given to them by Rebecca Janes. Clapton Community booked their place in the
semi finals as Larissa Vieira (2), Olateju Callisto and Emily Link all scored in their 4-2 extra time
win against Eastbourne Utd and Newhaven were the other team to progress, thanks to a 3-0
victory at Dulwich Hamlet Res in which Ellie Coade, Summer Dutton and Jamie Quinn all
scored.
Ebbsfleet Utd are just three points off the pace in the Premier Division following their 4-2
victory over Aylesford. Amy Russ netted twice along with Megan Wood and Amelia Woodgate to
take 'Fleet up to third place. There was also an important clash at the other end of the table and it
was AFC Acorns who picked up three vital points, thanks to a 2-1 success away to New London
Lionesses. Ellie Livingstone and Sami Phillips were on target for Acorns, with Kalina Georgieva.
Denham Utd continued their improving form in Division One North with a 1-0 win over
second placed Brentford. A victory would have seen Brentford take over as leaders but a goal from
Annie Hewitt gave Denham a result which moves them into the top six. Whyteleafe meanwhile
extended their unbeaten league run to six matches, courtesy of a 3-1 success away to Hackney.
Olianna Bishop, Rebecca Keyte and Mary Robinson all scored a goal apiece for 'Leafe.
After ten straight victories, Welling Utd became the first team to take points off Division
One South leaders Hastings Utd this season when they held them to a 1-1 draw. Sian Heather was
on target for Hastings, whilst Welling's goal came from Grace Laverick. Herne Bay meanwhile ran
out 3-0 winners over Steyning Town Community, courtesy of a goal apiece from Elena Brock,
Lauren Harris and Hannah Styles.
North East League
South Shields were the only team in the top three in action on Sunday and they went down to a
4-2 defeat at the hands of Alnwick Town. Chloe Young, Georgia Thompson, Sophie Williams and
Katie Ellwood all scored as Alnwick continue to catch up ground on the teams above them, whilst
Jade Dryden and Sophie Greener replied. Two of those teams above Alnwick are Sunderland
West End and Wakefield who shared a 2-2 draw, Jael Anderson and Alex Ross netting for West
End whilst Neve Renwick bagged a brace for Wakefield. Jess Round gave Redcar Town a 1-0 win
over Blyth Town and Hull Utd were 3-1 victors away to Harrogate Town, courtesy of a Lauren
Tate double and Kimberley Ward.
The top of the table clash in the Northern Division went the way of leaders Wallsend BC
Res, who were 3-2 winners over Washington Women. Rachel Hepple, Catherine Shields and
Rose Rikkerink all scored for Wallsend as they doubled their lead to six points, with Hannah Dixon
netting twice in reply. Robyn Foster hit a hat-trick, with Lauren Gray and Atalia Robinson adding
the others, as Hartlepool Utd defeated Guisborough Town 5-0 to move into second, just ahead
of Spennymoor Town who won 2-1 at Chester-le-Street Utd thanks to a double from Autumn
Colledge. Sophie Wood scored both as Thornaby Ladies defeated Bishop Auckland 2-0 to
move into the top half, ahead of Norton & Stockton Ancients Res who were beaten 6-3 by
Gateshead FC Ladies, for whom Jessica Richardson and Christine Murray both bagged hat-
tricks. Aimee Stabler (2), Hannah Lambert and Demi Burdon meanwhile netted the goals as
Hartlepool Pools Youth won 4-1 against West Allotment Celtic.
Barnsley FC Ladies have opened up a lead of three points in the Southern Division after
Lynn Goodman, Jodie Gregory and Phoebe Lodge gave them a 3-1 win away to Sheffield Utd
Community Foundation. Handsworth went down to a 3-2 defeat for the second week in
succession, this time to third placed Altofts Ladies and goals from Nicola Smith, Emma Dobson
and Naomi Malcolm. Emily Burgin (2), Chelsea Schofield (2), Debbie Hastings and Danielle
Sidebottom accounted for the goals as Ossett Utd beat Millmoor Juniors Ladies 6-0,
meanwhile Farsley Celtic Juniors went two better against York RI, winning 8-2 thanks to a
four-goal haul from Sarah Lawn, a Shauna Hill hat-trick and Charlotte Pardoe. Bradford Park
Avenue defeated Ripon City 2-0 thanks to Jade Nelson and Melissa West whilst Sophie
Thompson bagged a brace for Harworth Colliery in their 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday,
who replied through Eleanor Vessey and Molly Wilde.
