East Midlands League
Loughborough Students are the early leaders of the Premier Division, thanks to a 2-1 victory over
Leicester City in midweek, given to them by a double from Nnola Oyeka. Peterborough Utd are
one of three clubs who are three points behind after a goal apiece from Stacey McConville, Hannah
Pendred, Donna McGuigan, Molly Orr-Love, Piper O'Neill and Megan Parrett saw them to a 6-1 win
away to Rise Park. Mansfield Town netted ten without reply against Leicester City, Natasha Leach
was on target five times along with Ellie Marshall (2), Victoria Chincharo, Jessica Parker and
Shannon Purdy. Rotherham Utd are the third team on six points following their 5-0 victory over
Oughtibridge WMSC in which Harriet Houghton (2), Amy Pollock (2) and Lucy Ridley accounted
for the goals. Ollerton Town meanwhile won for the first time, beating Woodlands Ladies 5-1
with strikes from Cala Thornton (2), Emma White, Emily Stretton and Shoniqua Barnes.
Five teams are level on points at the top of Division One North, headed on goal difference
by Chesterfield after they won 4-0 away to Cleethorpes Town. Imogen Fowler netted a brace and
she was joined on the scoresheet by Paige Singleton and Kelly Fidler. Alisha Dejonge scored the only
goal as second placed Grimsby Town beat previous leaders St Josephs Rockware of Worksop
1-0, whilst a Grace Tominey double and Suzanne Green earned Grimsby Borough a 3-0 victory
against Arnold Eagles. Lincoln Moorlands Railway also notched a second straight win, 2-0 over
Sleaford Town courtesy of Jade Baker and Sammy Boothright. Lincoln Utd meanwhile made a
very powerful start, Abigail Murrell netting six times and Lauren Churcher adding a further four
against Sherwood Women. Tracey Duxbury-Mead (2), Kirsty Dalzell, Francesca Wilson, Amie
Barnes-Ford, Olivia Smith and Millie Seaton also got on the scoresheet.
Division One South has also got off to a close start but despite not playing, Notts County
Women remain on top of the table from three other teams, headed by Beaumont Park after they
won 2-0 at Coalville Town Ravenettes with both goals from Kayleigh Needham. Freya Gardner
hit a hat-trick and Samantha Hargrave the other for Oadby & Wigston in their 4-1 success away to
Loughborough Foxes Vixens and Derby County Academy defeated AFC Leicester 3-0
thanks to Anya Bourne (2) and Mollie Newton. Ilkeston Town got off the mark by beating
Thrapston Town 5-1, courtesy of a Hayley Brown double, Millie Huckle, Georgina Williams and
Charlotte Boyle.
Eastern Region League
Wymondham Town have a five point advantage in the Premier Division after they defeated
Harlow Town 3-0 for their fourth straight victory. Katie Knights, Freya Symonds and Hannah
Waters were the markswomen for Wymondham. Despite a goal from Georgia Stancombe, second
placed St Ives Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Bedford Ladies who scored through Natasha
Fensome. Peterborough Northern Star are up into third place following their 4-1 success away to
AFC Dunstable, whilst Haringey Borough and Bowers & Pitsea battled out a goalless draw.
The Division One clubs were involved in League Cup action on Sunday and King's Lynn
Town went through to the next round with a 2-0 victory over Wodson Park, while Annabel
Cuthbert hit a hat-trick and Chloe Slater added the other as Newmarket Town ran out 4-1 winners
away to Stevenage Women Development. Haverhill Rovers edged out Millwall Lionesses
2-1 thanks to a double from Stacey Roper. AFC Sudbury also progressed after scoring five times
without reply past East Bergholt Utd, Megan Partridge netting twice along with Evie Creaton,
Maisie Goodwin and Amy Thompson.
London & South East League
Dartford are the new leaders of the Premier Division after they won 3-1 away to Fulham on Sunday.
All of the Darts' goals came in the first half with Shauni Griffiths, Caitlin Hirst and Rachel Stevens all
scoring before Gemma Taylor grabbed a late consolation for the home side. Previous table toppers
Dulwich Hamlet were beaten 1-0 by Eastbourne Town, Danielle Parfitt scoring the only goal of
the game. Ashford Town (Middlesex) join the clutch of clubs on six points; Ashley Cheatley, Anya
Kinnane and Lavana Neufville all scored twice along with Jade Johnson and Hannah Nebbitt in their
8-3 win away to Aylesford, whose replies came from Beth Hulme, Milly Penfold and Zoe Counter.
Kayleigh Currivan scored a late goal to earn Denham Utd a 1-1 draw with Whyteleafe who had led
through Megan Smith, both sides picking up their first point of the season.
