GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY WOMEN’S FOOTBALL LEAGUE

                                       Facilities:
          Football Foundation Capital Projects Scheme
          This scheme primarily supports organisations that wish to build develop and / or
          refurbish facilities in order to sustain and / or increase participation.  Types of
          facilities funded include, grass pitches drainage / improvements, changing rooms,
          floodlights, artificial turf pitches, pavilions and clubhouses, funding is also available
          for revenue purposes e.g. a football development officer.  The appropriate level of
          grant support will be decided on the merits of the case but normally the applicant is
          required to provide matching contributions.  Where need is clear and priority
          objectives such as serving the disadvantaged or engaging the ethnic community will
          be met higher levels of support up to a ceiling of 90% are available.

          Support from your County FA
          Gloucestershire FA have football development officers dedicated to the promotion
          and progression of female football in the county. As part of this role these officers
          are working with the GCWFL to offer support and advice to its member clubs. Over
          the course of the season these officers will be on hand to help with a number of
          areas of club development, some of which are outlined below:


          Coach & Player Development
          As well as information on a range of FA coaching courses eg FA Level 1, Treatment
          and Management of Injury etc the W&G officers are keen to provide the league with
          workshop sessions tailored to the needs of clubs such as goalkeeping.


          Referee Development
          The GFA Referees development officer is available to work with the W&G officers to
          support the league and its clubs with any information, training or development of
          officials


          FA Charter Standard
          Charter Standard is an FA accreditation scheme for quality clubs. By becoming
          Charter Standard, clubs demonstrate they meet FA standards of coaching,
          administration and child protection. By achieving Charter Standard status clubs can
          access funding for kit and equipment, workshops and can access free England and
          FA Cup tickets.
