GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY WOMEN’S FOOTBALL LEAGUE


                League Entry Conditions for Teams Applying to Join the
                      Gloucester County Women’s Football League

          To ensure that clubs/teams are able to fully participate correctly in the GCWF
          League there are certain entry conditions

          All such Member Clubs must be affiliated to an affiliated County Football
          Association and their names and particulars shall be returned annually by the
          appointed date to the Gloucestershire County Football Association (G.F.A.).
          The area covered by the Competition Membership shall be the County of
          Gloucestershire. Any Club outside of the GFA boundary must obtain special
          dispensation from their own county FA if they wish to play outside of their own
          county.
          The GCWFL runs a League Cup competition open to all members of the GCWFL
          with the League Cup Final normally being held in late April/early May.

          Applications by Clubs for admission to this Competition:

                Applications must be made in writing to the League Secretary and must be
                 accompanied by an Entry Fee of £40 per team, which shall be returned in
                 the event of non-election.

                Formal Applications must be made to the League Secretary by 30  April.
                 (Late applications may be considered, at the discretion of the League
                 Management Committee).
                Joining Clubs will start their first season in the lowest Division of the
                 League, unless they are being relegated from a Higher league /
                 Competition. Entry into a higher Division may be considered, at the
                 discretion of the League Management Committee.
                Clubs with senior teams in Higher Leagues than the GCWFL must not be
                 reliant on dual registering their players from their senior team. Their
                 Reserve/Development team must have a suitable number of players who
                 are not dual registered to maintain the team in their own right.

                Applications from Clubs who may have another team in the lowest Division
                 are advised to contact the League Secretary to discuss this further.

                The application must include details of
                    o   the Club, the facilities and the match ground and an alternative
                        pitch, the playing squad (which should ideally be a minimum of 16
