Rangers stay on top of SWPL 1 as they won 1-0 away to Hibernian to maintain their perfect
record. Both sides had a strong claim for a penalty turned down and Rangers scored a goal which
was controversially disallowed but just after the hour, Tessel Middag planted a free kick into the
top corner for the only goal of the game.
Celtic meanwhile narrowed the gap on goal difference with a seven-goal blast against
Glasgow Women. Lucy Ashworth-Clifford scored twice during the first half and after the break,
Taylor Otto, Caitlin Hayes, Jacynta Galabadaarachchi, Natalie Ross and Clarissa Larisey also got
       on the scoresheet.
Glasgow City also made it seven wins in a row with a 6-0 success away to Hamilton
Academical. Lauren Davidson scored a hat-trick of penalties to help City keep pace with their
rivals whilst Priscilla Chinchilla, Kinga Kozak and
Megan Foley contributed the other goals.
Hearts continue to head the rest as they ran
out 3-0 winners over Aberdeen. Trialist Cailin
Michie gave Hearts the lead just before the interval,
with Vyan Sampson quickly adding a second. Ciara
Grant rounded off a good day for her side with the
final goal, midway through the second half.
Motherwell staged a second half fightback
to deny Spartans a third win of the season with a
2-2 draw. Becky Galbraith and Kat Smart gave
Spartans a two-goal lead but after the break, Kaela
McDonald-Nguah netted two penalties to give
Motherwell a sahre of the spoils.
