There was also a change of leadership in the Northern Division with Frampton
Rangers taking over at the top following their 3-0 victory away to Oldland
Abbotonians. Rebecca Hewitt and Ruby Michael put Frampton two ahead at the break,
with Michael completing her double ten minutes from time. SGS Olveston Utd moved
into second, goals from Rosanna Blacker, Jes Fleming and Ellie Windo gave them a 3-0 win
at Chipping Sodbury Town.
AEK Boco have made a swift return to the top of the Eastern Division, courtesy of a
5-1 victory away to Paulton Rovers. Lucy Atkinson netted a brace and she was joined on
the scoresheet by Sasha Ferris, Eloise Nicholas and Ilarna Nche, whilst Imogen Stocker
grabbed a consolation for the home side. Frome Town went down to their first defeat,
beaten 2-1 by Stockwood Wanderers who recorded their first win. Toni Blenkinsopp
and Lauren Phillips scored the goals for Stockwood, with Martha Wyatt replying.
Middlezoy Rovers also claimed their first victory, defeating Weymouth 3-2.
All four divisions saw new leaders on the weekend, with Sticker Women now
topping the Western Division following their 4-1 win at previous leaders Saltash Utd.
Tori Marks was on target twice for Sticker along with Annie Richards and Angelee
Robinson, with Jade Bryan replying.
Southern Region League
Ascot Utd leapt to the top of the Premier Division on Sunday with a 7-0 victory against
Oxford City. Amelia Kimble, Nicole Brown, Sarah Davern, Laura Spark, Isabel Woods,
Alix Todd and Dominique Carrington all scored a goal apiece to see Ascot climb above
Bournemouth Sports on goal difference.
Milton Utd have replaced Kidlington as Division One North leaders after winning
their meeting 7-2. Sarah Saunders hit a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by
Charlotte Comley, Mollie Dyer, Natalie Evans and Jessica Simons whilst Abigail Haynes
and Katie Thorp replied. Long Crendon follow on in third, they defeated Carterton 3-1
with goals from Megan Baillet, Samantha Bignall and Nicole Jacobs.
In Division One South, Rushmoor Community climbed up into second place on
the back of a 2-0 victory over Chichester City, given to them by Gemma Bennett and Jade
Nightingale. Abbey Rangers meanwhile got off the mark when they defeated Woking
Ladies 3-0 thanks to Beth Easterman, Carla Hobbs and Ella MacLellan.
West Midlands League
Worcester City's winning start to the season was brought to a halt as they were beaten
1-0 by Kidderminster Harriers, Macy Fox scoring the only goal of the game to her side
up to fourth. Defeat for Worcester presented Sutton Coldfield Town with an
opportunity to replace them as leaders, which they took - albeit on goals scored - by
winning 1-0 against Solihull Sporting, courtesy of a goal from Ruth Graham. Lye Town
meanwhile edged out Lichfield City by the odd goal in seven, Sian Johnson was on target
twice along with Chelsea Tague and Olivia Ashfield.
Knowle maintained their lead of three points in Division One South by scoring five
times without reply away to Westfields Women, with a goal apiece from Jessica Barlow,
Marian Byrne, Natalie Gibson, Demi-Lee Rolph and Samantha Smith. Second placed
Coventry Sphinx also won, 4-0 against Bewdley Town with Kirsty Farnsworth, Jodie
McGuckin, Angel Scandrett and Anaya O'Brien accounting for the goals. Kingfisher
edged out Droitwich Spa 4-3 to lift themselves into a top four place, meanwhile goals
from Bonnie Mountford and Annabelle Williams earned Leamington Lions their first
point of the season when they shared a 2-2 draw with Worcester City Development.
