Lucy Jellett all scored as Saltdean Utd defeated Aylesford 3-0 to preserve their position
in the top half, ahead of Sutton Utd who were 3-2 victors at AFC Acorns thanks to Sarah
Chapman, Darcy Wells and Abbie Measures. Dartford FC Women meanwhile scored six
without reply away to New London Lionesses with a Paris Smith hat-trick, Nicha Dyett
adding a brace and Emily Vaughan also on target.
In Division One North, Clapton Community have opened up a lead of four points
following a win and a draw in their double header with Richmond Park. Maria Mendonca
netted a brace as Clapton came from behind to win 2-1, after Alara Tyrer had put Richmond
Park, whilst the other meeting finished in a goalless draw. A 6-0 victory over Sport London
e Benfica has seen Watford Development leap three places up the table, Rebecca
Lovelace and Lola Meyer each netting twice along with Sophia Amanor and Lily Hall.
Hackney remain at the foot of the table but enjoyed a 3-0 win against Leatherhead,
courtesy of a hat-trick from Amy Nicholson.
Ashford Utd are back on top of Division One South following their 8-2 victory over
Montpelier Villa. Rebecca Janes and Rebecca Wyatt both scored hat-tricks and they were
joined on the scoresheet by Katie Hardaker and Karis Howard, with Georgia Egner and
Saskia Taylor-Doyle replying. Welling Utd are starting to stretch the pace in the race for
third, Sarah White hitting a hat-trick in their 5-0 success at Steyning Town Community,
with Olivia McGregor and Maddie Bone adding the others. Maidstone Utd won for only
the second time this season, edging out Eastbourne Utd by the odd goal in seven. Jasmine
Etheridge, Emma Healy, Grace Mayhead and Sophie Rayner were all on target for
Maidstone, with Beth Chambers, Leanne Hawkins and Grace Hill replying.
North East League
It has been a tough week for Alnwick Town as they have faced trips to the top two teams
in the Premier Division. In midweek they were beaten 4-1 by Champions elect Chester-le-
Street Town, who now need one more point to wrap up the title, but fared better on Sunday
when they went to second placed Wakefield and drew 3-3, a result which keeps both teams
firmly in the running for the runners-up spot. Charlotte Blythe, Yasmin Ayub and Neve
Renwick scored the goals for Wakefield, whilst Alnwick responded with a Katie Ellwood
hat-trick. Wallsend Boys Club's own chances of a top two finish received a setback when
they drew 1-1 with Hull Utd, who took a first half lead through Mary Lisle and Michaela
Sewell equalised late on.
Spennymoor Town have stepped up their title challenge in the Northern Division,
winning 5-1 against Gateshead FC Ladies in the only match to be played. Lily-Mae
Jackson led the scoring for Spennymoor by hitting a hat-trick and Autumn Colledge weighed
in with the other two, with Christine Murray replying.
Barnsley FC Ladies power on at the top of the Southern Division, scoring eight
without reply past Ripon City. Lynn Goodman and Jodie Gregory both hit hat-tricks along
with Louisa Barraclough and Nicole Shaw. Jade Richards was another hat-trick scorer as
second placed Handsworth defeated York RI 5-0, Katie Jepson and Danielle Pinder
adding the others, whilst Millmoor Juniors Ladies were 6-0 winners over Bradford
Park Avenue thanks to an Abby Watkinson hat-trick, Crystal Lisle (2) and Alesha Gale.
Sheffield Utd Community Foundation meanwhile battled out a 2-2 draw with
Harworth Colliery, who scored through Grace Sanderson and Georgia Walker-Ellis.
North West League
Salford City Lionesses are back in pole position in the Premier Division following their
narrow 3-2 victory over Fleetwood Town Wrens. This takes them two points ahead of
previous leaders FC United of Manchester who battled out a 1-1 draw with Cheadle
Town Stingers, whose scorer was Chloe Mapp. The local derby match between
