Near the Monk’s Fishing

                                                                         House we take some

                                                                         photos of a really

                                                                         handsome stone face atop

                                                                         an arched gate.

                                                                         We found out later he was

                                                                         Rory O’Connor, the last

                                                                         High King.

                            The wind is old

                            and still at play
                         While I must hurry

                             upon my way,
                           For I am running

                              To paradise;
                         …That nobody can

                               buy or bind:
                         And there the king

                         is but as a beggar.
