quaint street and after a wrong turn end up on a stone bridge
from which we can see a dozen wild swans and another bridge.
The cement and stone sides of the waterway have mossy stuff
hanging into the water and flowers that looked like tall phlox
growing out from the
rocks.
After some discussion
about where we are,
we ask a girl for
directions. She can’t
read the map but says
to go back over the
Bridge. That
doesn’t seem
right so we go
down to the
other bridge
and find the
restaurant
called “The
Mill” on the
waterway. It has shops upstairs and the restaurant downstairs.
We both have a scone and cup of tea. We check out the shops,
take a few pictures of homes with great gardens along the
waterway and head on up the street.
