They do have some fast food but most

places are more picturesque. We eat

                                                        dinner at Moran’s Weir Restaurant

which is just up the road from our B

& B. It is a neat little place with a

see-through bar. We have a lovely

but strange seafood plate. All cold

                                                        salmon sliced paper thin with
shrimp, shaved crab and crab claws.

Very tasty with brown bread. We
split a half bottle of white wine. M

asks the waitress what a weir is and

she says it is where salt and fresh water mix. M isn’t convinced

and she is right. M thinks it is more of a lock or place where

               water is held back.

               After dinner we

               take a few

               pictures of the

               water with

               swans and a

               thatched house

               near the

               restaurant.

               Then we decide

               to drive to the

               top of the road.

               Now this road

was very narrow and the left side (my side since M is driving)

drops away as we climb higher.
