are facing sideway so after 3 miles or so I know I have made a
big mistake. I say, “Stop” and I get out. I told M that I will still
pay my half but that I can’t risk messing up my back and
suffering the rest of the trip. She understands and Kevin
McDougal, the driver, flags down one of the tourist busses for
me and off he and M go to a prehistoric fort.
We go on up to the top of the road where there are
breathtaking views of the ocean with a wee lighthouse in the
distance. The fields are surrounded by stone fences. More
fences than I’d seen so far and smaller size fields than I’ve seen.
