Their warning signs are fun too – SLOW comes first, then
SLOWER YET and finally DEAD SLOW. Then there are the
round-abouts which I haven’t seen in the U.S. They are really
fun…sort of like the Wheel of Karma…you go around till you
get it right. Well, guess I’d better go to sleep since we have a
7:30 a.m. wakeup call and I just figured out that the electric
blanket is under me. They sure do things peculiar here. Also,
this isn’t a “real” mattress. It seems to be a box with ropes
strung across it (very uncomfortable but not sagging). I think
about putting bath towels under me and then decide to turn the
sheet, wool blanket and feather comforter upside down, lie on
top and pull half of it over me. It’s like a sleeping bag.
