Our code of conduct, however, extends beyond what is considered of unlawful harassment.
NWF will also not tolerate behavior that violates our core values even if it falls short of
unlawful harassment under applicable law.
We offer this Policy that outlines our core values and codes of conduct. NWF will apply this
policy to all employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, interns, volunteers, visitors or guests
both in the NWF workplace and at NWF related events, and all employee and partner
interactions outside the workplace, and NWF will take appropriate action if violations occur.
The aim is to ensure our workplace, wherever our employees go on behalf of NWF, is a safe
place, free from harassment and other offending conduct.
Standard of Conduct Policy Our Core Values
The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) aspires to be a respectful and collegial workplace with
standards for how we treat each other. We value our employees and desire to be the place
where our employees want to come to work. NWF aspires to be an inclusive multicultural
organization that celebrates the rich dimensions of diversity such as race, ethnicity, gender
identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious and
political beliefs.
To achieve these goals, we expect that our employees embody the spirit of the core values of
the National Wildlife Federation: Collaboration, Mindfulness, Empowerment, Inclusivity, and
Mission Focus. NWF has developed this Policy reflecting what it means to embody NWF’s
core values and behavioral norms and to illustrate examples of conduct that NWF will not
tolerate, all to ensure our employees are protected and to ensure that co-workers’ and the
company’s rights are resrespected.
Our Standards of Conduct Policy outlines our expectations regarding employee’s
behavior towards their colleagues, supervisors, external partners and colleagues, and
overall organization.
