DAILY READINGS
The April ed ition of the Daily Reading leaflets that we are producing to both encourage
and guide people in reading the Bible is now available. As Martyn said previously, the
aim of these leaflets is to be of help and not a hindrance.

Please do not take these leaflets as a directive that must be followed. Reading the Bible
should be a pleasure and not a chore, so if these leaflets become a burden to you in any
way, please feel free to dispense with them and approach the Bible in whatever way suits
you best.

Food Bank update

At the last Team meeting, we discussed the rise
in the referrals and requests for food, and it was
accepted that Swanage Food Bank is no longer
operating only for emergency use, but assisting on a more regular
basis, due to the great need in the current climate.
Shortages at the moment are:
Long grain rice
Instant Noodles,
Microwavable rice – ideal for those on their own and with
limited cooking facilities
Sweet and Savoury Biscuits
Small tins corned beef
Tins of Meat – any variety
Tins of rice Pudding
