We recently held our tri-monthly Trustees and Team Meeting and
Ian Bandy, our treasurer, gave the update that our agreement with
the URC for 12 months has been renewed, for which we are very
grateful.
We receive a lot of requests for dog and cat food alongside
requests for food for individuals and families. The charity ‘Dog
Friendly Dorset’ are running a trial throughout Dorset collecting pet
food (mainly dog) which is being delivered from a collection point to
our Food Bank. We do not carry out home deliveries of pet food
unless it’s alongside the normal food parcels.
We are always pleased to receive ~ Tins
Meals and snacks for warming up ~ cold meat~ fruit
Savoury biscuits and crackers
Thankyou as always for your continuing support.

Our chosen Charity for 2025
At our AGM on 9th February a vote was taken and
Swanage Linking Lives was chosen
Swanage Linking Lives is a befriending service operating
throughout East Purbeck. Originally called
“Link Visiting Swanage”, they are affiliated to the national network
“Linking Lives UK”.
Founded in 2015, when it was recognised that there were a
number of lonely and isolated people in the area who would
benefit from a regular friendly visit. Many people find themselves
alone, for a variety of reasons, or they just don’t get out as often
as they used to.
