Rethinking Rubbish!

Recycle the stuff you can’t put in household recycling
bins! De-clutter and save the Planet!

Have a look through your rubbish heading for landfill and if you have
any of the following, why not drop it off at a monthly
Sustainable Wareham “Rethinking Rubbish” event.

Where: Not Just Sundaes, opposite the Quay on
South Street, Wareham
When: 10 – 11.30, every second Saturday of the month -

next one, 8 March, then 12 April etc.

Items we collect and final destination:

Babybel wrappers (Win on Waste)
Bras (Poole Hospital first raising funds for Breast Cancer
Research, then on to small businesses in Africa)
Cheese wrappers (Win on Waste)
Coins (Lewis Manning Hospice)
Corks (Dorset Scrapstore – craft projects)
Dental waste: plastic toothbrushes, electric toothbrush heads,
interdental brushes, toothpaste tubes (Win on Waste)
Greetings cards (St Michael’s Church, Colehill, new cards from old!)
Jewellery (Transform Trade)
Keys & Padlocks (Win on Waste),
Make up (Win on Waste),
Marigold type gloves & packaging (Win on Waste),
Mobile phones (Win on Waste)
Pill blister packs – we ask for a small donation as we need to buy a
Terra Cycle bag to recycle these
Plastic lunchboxes & drinks bottles (rigid type, refillable bottles, not
the ones that go into regular collection),
Printer ink cartridges (Win on Waste)
