Blythswood Shoe Boxes

Blythswood Shoebox Appeal has sent 84,655
gift-filled boxes to eight countries in Eastern Europe.

Alan Swanson, head of UK projects said “this year’s Shoe Box
Appeal has been a great effort by donors and sorters and by all our
staff and volunteers. I am so glad that once again we have been
able to send boxes to Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Moldova,
Romania, Serbia and Ukraine.”

This month we are particularly collecting the following Items:

Pretty items ~ Jewellery ~ Beads
Hair Bands ~ Candles
Umbrellas ~ Folding Walking Sticks ~ Manicure Sets

The collecting box is at the far end of the Vestibule
where you will also find the box for donations to Ukraine,
The Foodbank, Bra Bank and Milk Bottle Tops

Our popular Afternoon Tea Boxes are back!

On Monday 6th May (Bank Holiday)
Two freshly homemade scones with
Clotted Cream and Jam served in pretty
boxes for just £5.
Collection from Swanage URC from 2 pm
or delivery to your door for £1 extra.
