Our Autumn appeals begin on 14 September with a fun evening of
Beetle & Bingo. We’ll roll the dice at 6.15, have a break for a light
supper, and then focus our minds on Bingo!

Our previous evenings have brought much merriment and no
specialist knowledge is required!
Tickets for this event will be £6.

There will be a Raffle and prizes of consumables for this would be
very welcome.

every Friday brings many people together and no
one seems to be in a hurry to leave. We have a
regular group of Table Hosts but would always welcome more to
share the mornings.

Besom in Purbeck is our nominated Charity for 2024. Details
about Besom may be found on page 21.

URC UKULELE BAND

Our merry band of 16 loyal players entertained at Cliff Top in July
and at the Rotary Fete in August. On the latter occasion we were
lucky to get an early slot before the rain really started and a good
number of people enjoyed our mixture of old and not-so-old tunes.

We were relieved that Eddie had recovered sufficiently
from Covid to supply our bass!

In October we are once again at the Making Memories
Café at the Mowlem where our repertoire brings back the
past.

If you enjoy singing and would like to learn basic Ukulele
we meet every Saturday at 9.30 – come and join us!
