On the 2 Tuesday of each month we meet for Coffee and
Conversation with a representative of a Charity/Organisation
based in Swanage and serving the local community. The afternoon
starts at 2 pm with the Conversation at 2.15 when all are settled,
and finishes with tea and cake and washing up!

So far we have heard about how to be ‘Dementia Friendly’, from
Mo Andrews, experienced Armchair Yoga for Seniors, with
Johanna, The Food Bank from Lucy Cocke and The Besom from
Davina, all of which have led to interesting conversation.

In September we look forward to hearing about Cancare and their
Memory Garden with Gill, in October-Tools With a Mission with
Judy Forgan, and November - Linking Lives. We are planning a
Christmas Craft afternoon for December.

This is an open meeting for all so everyone is
welcome. Cost £1

Monday Singers

Once a fortnight, on a Monday afternoon, the “singers” meet.
The inverted commas are in use because we sing for the joy of it
not because we have aspirations to be a choir. Everyone is more
than welcome.

Usually we sing hymns, old favourites and some new to us. We are
very fortunate to have Ann Gould playing the piano for us and Pat
Haggarty keeping an eye on the requests.

Of course we find time for a cup of tea, a biscuit and a chat.
Do come along and join us - we would love to see you.
