Sam McKee will address the subject
"Science, Religion, and the Future of Humanity" –
a big theme!
Sam works in education and academia and lectures
widely in the philosophy of science and religion and is an
Associate Tutor in history and philosophy of science at
Manchester Metropolitan University.
He is a Doctoral researcher in molecular biology at the
University of Reading and a science writer for
The Conversation and The Institute of Art and Ideas
among others.
Sam also sits on the board of The Mars Society,
Christians in Science, and is an ambassador for
The Genetics Society UK, and an associate at the
Royal Society of Biology.
He has published in many journals across science,
philosophy and theology and has collaborated with
astronauts and researchers from NASA and ESA,
including sending an experiment to the International
Space Station last year.
Doors open at 6.30 pm (coffee/tea)
