While their combined business acumen indeed aided fundraising efforts for the FOP, they
identified unrealized potential they could fulfill through a foundation of their own. One of their
first fundraisers—modeled after the annual gala typically hosted at the Four Seasons—was
instead moved to Mar-a-Lago. The location change attracted a swath of new donors, securing
over $400,000 in a single night; approximately 100 times more than previous events.

The money contributed to education efforts and equipment the PD was in need of, but annual
budgets sadly couldn’t cover.

Their efforts have also resulted in the donation of a de-escalation training machine—the Virtra 300—
a new firing range, 140-camera monitoring system installed throughout Palm Beach Island, and even
plans to renovate the department’s kitchen. Funds have also been contributed toward a new air and
light truck for the Fire Department. When the COVID-19 pandemic arrived in town, the Foundation
even helped first responders collect and give away test kits and more than 70,000 masks.
