JP: Well, that's a shame, because he's one of the greatest. I'm also playing some good
shows, some duo shows, with my buddy Dennis Lichtman at Symphony Space here in
New York City on the 5th of December. That’ll be a great time. We're also playing in
West Falls, New York in Pine Plains at the Stissing Center. So that's going to be some
fun times up there with my buddy. There's a few things coming up before I get to rest
real good [chuckles].
BiTS: [Laughs] Are the shows that you do getting bigger and bigger in the sense that
they attract larger audiences?
JP: Ah, that seems to be the case.
BiTS: That's wonderful. Wonderful news. What do you expect to be doing say, in five
years’ time, Jerron?
JP: I have no idea. The road of life twists and turns and I don't quite know. I hope I'm
making good music, as good a music as possible and playing it and getting it exposed
to as many people as possible. I try to play good music, and I think it's good that good
music is spreading round the people, so they have access to it. I try to take it as
seriously as possible and be the change I’d like to see out there, and hopefully I'm
doing that with more intensity and more good help behind me.
BiTS: Well, you're certainly starting to make waves over here, there's no doubt about
that and I wish you the very best of luck. Tell me something about the experience that
you had in working with Jules Holland. Did you find him a pleasant person, or what?
JP: Yeah, I said before, we made fast friends and he's a fantastic musician. So we had
a good time.
