Finally, Bob Dylan’s’ ‘Chimes Of Freedom’, becomes a mellow, gently swaying, guitar
     rich instrumental.

                                                 —Overton Music CM008

Jennifer is from Buxton, Maine. Although, a trained
Opera and Jazz vocalist as well as being a trained

classical and jazz pianist. She nonetheless, considers
herself to be a Roots Musician at heart.

This album is a remixed and remastered version, of

                                                 her 2021 release.

Jennifer takes lead vocals and Hammond B3, the
core musicians are; George Naha; guitar, Dan Boone,

Wilbur Bascombe; bass, Bernard Purdie; drums, Miho Nobuzane; piano. The first, of
the ten numbers is ‘Sun Come And Shine’, in which Jennifer’s gossamer light and

sensuously invitingly vocals glide over a mournful harmonica and meld into a
     delightful floating, piano and B3.

The gentle ‘Show Me Your Love’, is a swaying ballad where Jennifer pleads for love

and an aching, sinuously shivering trumpet underpins, while ‘When It’s All Been Said
And Done’, is a seductive piano and guitar late night invitation to sweetly, roll the
     night away, indoors.

In ‘Satin Shoes’, the swaying silky horns envelope delicate vocals immersed in sweet
images of happy times, all wrapped-up in a mellow saxophone and in ‘Stop Your
Talkin’’, the slow good time harmonica and horns leads into a gentle New Orleans

beat, the ever so, sultry vocals invite you to shut up and enjoy. ‘In And Out With You’,
is a sensuous rolling ode to frolicking days and nights when you’re in love.

The ballad ‘Bitter New York Night’ is a saxophone led remembrance of snow and

loving warm arms, whilst ‘You’re Easy To Be With’, C. J. Chenier’s warming New
Orleans accordion and Jennifer’s rolling good time piano says it all.

‘Something On Your Mind’, this mournful ballad is filled with a wistful saxophone

matching Jennifer’s affecting, forlorn vocals, and finally in ‘I’ll Be Here’, the lilting
pedal-steel and piano underpins this wistful, doleful ballad.

     Highly recommended!
