BiTS: Absolutely right.

LP: He's a character. We've been working together about a year and a half now. Yeah, I think, God
knows how many albums – three or four. He doesn't always tell me that we're doing an album,
[chuckling] he secretly sets up microphones and things, and then later on, he'll e-mail me and say,

oh, hi, Lucy. I've just put an album together from these various sessions or recordings from gigs,
and it's ready to go. It's printed. I’m like, hang on. I didn't even know we were doing one.
BiTS: Yeah, he is one of the most prolific artists I ever came across in my life.

                                                                     Southern Fried Groove Queens

LP: Yeah, I think he's addicted.

BiTS: [Laughing] You've got a gig coming up at The Bridge before very long, I think.

LP: We do. Yeah, The Bridge Inn, Topsham, Devon, in January. Dave’s good fun to work with. You
never quite know what you're going to get. He's sort of got me doing gigs I wouldn’t of maybe
otherwise done, like lots of art centre-y things, which is new for me, actually. That level of pressure
is something I've not often had, like, you know, with bar gigs festivals. It's not the same as having
a sit-down ticket audience sort of thing.

BiTS: That's true. One of the things that always stands out in my mind is I went to a gig that he
did, I think here in Exmouth, if I remember rightly, and he was playing the piano for that one, and
I've never seen anybody work so hard. He was absolutely ringing wet when he finished.

LP: Oh yeah, yeah, he is partial to sweating, that man. Maybe don't put that in print, [laughs].
Yeah, he does give it some!
