PL: Well, our first gig is on the 1st of April, and I think we have about 20 or 22 shows
already booked including Upton and Colne and, some nice festivals. So that's really,
really pleasing because these people have all booked a band that haven’t done a gig

yet and they've nothing recorded, they haven't heard anything from. I think it shows
testament to Matt really because we’ve obviously got those bookings because they

would have booked Catfish in the past. Hopefully they know it'll be up to a certain
level. The band’s called Burning Rope and it's with Alex Voysey on guitar and also
Mitch Weaving on drums. Mitch was a drummer for Catfish on the last sort of 18
months as well. So there's a kind of a family feel to it really. And Alex Voysey, I

produced an album for him in 2023, so we have sort of a working relationship that
goes back a little way as well. We've had some rehearsals and we’re all ready to go

     [chuckles].

BiTS: Talking about family feel, how does Fiona (Matt’s mother) feel about all this?

PL: Well, it's kept us all very busy, certainly since January when I started on it, and

Fiona's really masterminded the pre-sales campaign, the marketing and that sort of
thing. So she's been looking after all that – T-shirts and the album and everything,

and been booking gigs for the new band. So it's always been a family affair, and it
looks like it'll continue. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to carry on playing, but in
