1600 - ELECTRICAL

Incoming Service

Provide 220 volt, single phase, 600 amp, underground incoming electrical service. Service
panels, splitter, meter base and main disconnect to be located on interior face of tool room
exterior wall in Plant area. Provide separate sub-panels with disconnect for Plant area and
upper and lower levels of the office building.

Lighting

General/Private Offices/Washrooms
Recessed florescent fixtures, 2.0 ft. x 4.0 (4 tube) to provide lighting level of? Foot-
candles.

Plant Offices/Washrooms
Surface mounted, wrap florescent fixtures, 1.0 ft. x 4.0 ft. (2 tube) to provide lighting
level of? Foot-candles.

Plant
Strip fluorescent fixtures two- (2) tube x 8.0 ft. suspended from structural roof
system to provide a lighting level of? Foot-candles.

Emergency
Provide separate outlet and connected wall mounted double head battery emergency
units to general offices (2), stairwells (2) and plant area (2). Provide standard wall
mounted exit light fixtures at all main exit points in office and plant (7).

Exterior
Provide 250 watt; wall mounted metal halide fixtures over all exit doors (4) at Plant
and upper portion of wall at corner (2) of Plant facing trucking yard. Provide
recessed 100-watt pot lights (total 8) to soffit at both Office main entrance canopies.
Provide parking lot lighting utilizing twin head fixtures on metal poles set on
concrete bases to provide code-required level of yard illumination.
