❖ A brief overview of the project
The project was in Procurement division. It was to devise a
process to identify the focused raw material and
subsequently also finalise the safety stock for the same. I
use VBA to prepare a dashboard which could identify the
FRMs with a single click on the basis of past 24 months
consumption data. VBA was used to simplify the process of
calculations as it evaluated more than 200000 results on
one click.
❖ How is a normal day at the Internship?
I used to reach the office by 9.30 am and was given a cabin
where me and my cointern used to spend the rest of the
TINWALA ADNANHUSEIN day. It was difficult in the initial days to identify the exact
outcome of the project due to multiple reasons but by the
RPG end of 3 weeks, we figured it out what was the exact need.

GENERAL INFORMATION used to stay back a lil late to get some time with our guides.

❖ What are the challenges faced during Internship?
The main challenge which i faced was to get data and time from my guide. The company was going
through a phase of transformation during the time which we joined and getting old data from SAP was the
biggest barrier. To add to it was that the respective guides were also occupied in the process and were not
able to give time to us even after working hours. This created an unexpected delay in the project but
things changed quite a bit midway and the project started taking shape.
❖ What did you do right and what did you do wrong
I don't think there is right or wrong in an approach. It depends completely on an individual to sence the
opportunity before him and make the most out of it. Everyone follows a different road but as long as it
reaches the desired target, it doesn't make much of a difference.
