Introduction
LibBook, a smartphone app, lets users borrow books from local bookstores, libraries, etc. Scan the QR code on
the book to see its title, author, genre, description, and more. The app also lets users check out, due, late, and
other book information. The app also has a homepage that showcases the highest-rated and most-borrowed
books and the highlighted businesses that loan the most books to make it easier and more exciting for users,
especially first-time users, to decide what to read and where to acquire their books. After signing up, there's
nothing else to do. The LibBook app and using your account with a QR code to borrow books from your local
book lending businesses are free. No ongoing fees, no app-borrowing fees, and a tiny overdue book fee.

Most libraries manually record
borrower data, making book
borrowing difficult. The borrower
may not know the book's due date.

prove they returned the book is
more likely to go missing.
